Warranty Policy

Customers purchasing new engine parts from North American Diesel Parts (“NADP”) should note that the products come with a 1-year warranty against material and workmanship defects, applicable only to the original purchaser. For non-original purchasers, warranty claims should be directed to the dealer, distributor, or original owner. The terms of the warranty are subject to change without prior notice.

North American Diesel Parts Responsibilities

If the claim procedures are properly followed according to the instructions on www.nadieselparts.com and it is confirmed by NADP or the vendor that a warranty issue has indeed taken place, NADP’s maximum responsibility will be to provide the necessary support or replacement for the faulty part as outlined in their warranty policy.
  • No cash refunds are permitted, and any eligible refunds will be credited to the original purchaser.
  • All returned parts will become the property of NADP.
  • Progressive damage to the engine is covered, not exceeding $5,000.
  • Any additional parts required for repair that are not supplied by NADP must be approved in writing in advance.
  • At their discretion, NADP may provide necessary parts for repair or reimburse the cost of parts needed for engine repair.
  • Non-reusable fluids will be covered.
  • Labor costs will be covered at a rate of $60 per hour, based on published flat rate manuals.

Owner Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the owner to adhere to the maintenance guidelines specified in maintenance manuals for the engine’s upkeep. Any suspected failures must be reported within 30 days during the warranty period. Defective parts may be requested by NADP for examination, with the owner bearing the cost of prepaid freight. NADP reserves the right to inspect the engine or delegate a representative for this purpose. If there are any questions or disputes regarding warranty claims, they must be formally submitted within 10 days of being notified of the claim decision.
